You've inspired me to do a bit better. I did not want any hardware inside but I have considered using red loctite to secure the fasteners.
This is after a second coat of epoxy and 400 grit of sanding. I think if I were to go over it with a high build primer it would fill in the holes in the epoxy for a better finish.
