This would be my advice as well. Weigh them and see if you have a viable replacement piece. I believe you can send them as a repair/return part to minimize any possible tariffs. Any Pauter or Carrillo rod set will cost upwards of $2K. Refinishing the Pankl rods would cost under $600. Titanium rods are certainly over-kill but in all honesty, so are Carrillos or Pauters. We have 11 or 12 911 engines on the road and track using reconditioned Pankl ti rods with zero reported issues. Everything from 2.0 to 4 liters.
The WOW appeal is priceless.
