I didn't find it all that bad, just a lot of time. Of course my chassis was bare with no components on a rolling stand. I completely went over every single wire in my 9146gt project, cutting every inch of shrink wrap, replacing corroded lines with donor harnesses and adding new wires for more components, then re-shrink wrapping everything... from the rear turn signals to the front horns. Did i mention i spliced in a complete 911 dash, steering column, switches, relays, fuse box, etc? Heres some pics to prove my insanity:
