Max and Rick summed it up relly nicely. I would add my 2cents.
The change from OBD1 in '95 and on all ROW 993s to OBD2 usen only on US and Canada '96 on 993 was the bifggest thing that will affect you as an owner. Particularly where emissions inspections are in effect.
