The CHT sensor wire terminal should be a single pole female. Beginning from the ECU connector to the brain,

the first node of the FI harness will be the speed limiter (6 pole connector), if your car is so equipped, if not, the first node will be 3 branches (2 for cylinders 3+4 fuel injectors, 1 for the MPS.

The very next branch is a single wire which should have a single pole male wire terminal inside an elongated plastic box connector housing...but they do often fall off the harness because the harness is delicate there. The CHT is mandatory for the engine to function...it shouldn't even start without it.
