As I recall, Optimas come in two amp. ratings.
Colors are red and yellow with red being the good one. Sitting around doesn't bother them, they hold their charge MUCH better than an acid cell.
Get hold of the boys at Pelican. I believe there is a dual battery setup available for your car. If not, they can sell you a conversion kit.
Chrome wheels eh? Most of those have disappeared. If they are in good shape, they're worth some bucks. Replace those tires, change the oil, then take that sucker out and run the crap out of it.
If it don't blow,you have a good car.
