Well, the only 'hint' I can offer is to order 8 CV-joint gaskets, 4 new boots, and 2 tubes of SWEPCO 101 moly grease, so you will have 4 spare gaskets on hand for the next time you decide to pack the CV-joints! In case you haven't had the fun of repacking Lobro's before, the Bentley manuals for any of the air-cooled VW's have several pictures and an explanation of how to disassemble and reassemble them. You need a high quality 8 mm Allen-drive bit, and a torque wrench for the reassembly of the axles to the car. Be SURE the Allen bolts are clean enough before starting disassembly, and hit the drive bit firmly with a copper, brass, or plastic mallet before trying to remove the bolts ... to seat the bit FULLY in the bolt!
