Hello
The sending unit sits in the forward left steelcover from the enginecase close to the engine carrier bar. Visible from underside ther is a bubbled cover over it. Wire runs out ther along the fanshroud and comes out on the passenger side is the connectet at the forward battey post area. Color of the wire is green/black.
All 914/2,0 had the oiltempsender and a instrument.
