Hi, it's a e36 318i 98 factory alarm. I already have one remote for the car that works fine. I am trying to add another, but can't get the darn thing to go into programming mode. I used the instruction from the alarm manual trunk open cycle car on etc... and the horn does no sound a chirp nor does the led stay lit to program. This is the same programming instructions I found on the forum.


Is there any special tips or tricks to do the programming that anyone else has experienced?
