I know some porsche purtians out there will be shunning me for cutting out my spare tire bracket... but it needed to be done. The story goes, subwoofers are key for a really good sounding stereo, i dont care what people say.... its true.... NOT 10 15's but one 10 inch is just perfect. A PERFECT 10. But my buddy has had a hatch smashed so that the villians could steal the sub. Sometimes they can break the glass from the inside if the box is not bolted down(takin the corners hard). The rear right and left corner cubby holes are too oddly shaped to build a box for and the KLA is tooo expensive. Solution is to build your own for an easy install into the spare tire well. Now here we have the Infinity Perfect 10 (amazing sounding sub "i highly recommend picking one up") My buddy and I built a box for his 944 and will be building one for my 944 in a couple days but here are the diminsions for a perfect 10 box for the spare tire well. 11.5 wide x 21 inches x 7.5 Deep. I will post better a better blueprint in a bit.
Here are some pics of the box that we constructed..... and it sounds great! .... and a link to a free software for sub enclousure design.
***We just built the second box for me CHECK OUT THE blog for pics and the blueprint for building your own!***
