good for you, airdale. i'm not sure if you have the dual chip package, but if you do, give it a month or two, then switch back to standard and see the difference. i guess not all cars are in the same state of tune/condition, but for my application, the difference was night and day. i noticed the same effects that you have. below 3.5k, not much happening, then you hit the torque spread between 3.5, and it goes away at 5.5k. i have found that the engine pulls strongly from 1800rpm, right up to the raised limit of 7k, with no hiccups. just smooth power, growing all the way. now you will find, that 5th gear, is more viable, as your car will actually pull very well, even from as low a speed as 50mph. this chip really is the best bang for your buck, i feel.
