1986 carrera turbolook purchased a few weeks ago. One day while putting down the window (electric windows), I heard something snap and clank. I thought for sure that the window was broke, but it was not. Yesterday I pulled off the door panel and found this item in the bottom of the door.
Can anyone tell me what part of the door it belongs to?
The car has electric windows, central locking, and alarm system.
It looks like the piece was at one time pressed into something metal, and then rolling the window down yanked it out from its intended position.
