They are on some sort of composite board. Maybe 3/8". She covers the images with epoxy as the last step. They kind of look ceramic (most of her 12" tiles are ceramic) but they are pretty light. It’s a completely cold process.
Thanks for the nice words. We’ve had some mixed reactions, which I actually don’t mind a bit. Not just with that piece, but I like art to be somewhat challenging, controversial. I don’t think my mother likes a single thing we have in the house. She’s my contrary indicator
