Crane/Marelli doesn't fit?
My mechanic has been attempting to install a Crane 'electonic points' kit on my 1970 911t. I'm not sure of the exact details but the correct kit doesn't fit on the distributor. He bought the kit from performance porsche in Florida. They are now trying to sell him a bosch set-up to the tune of $800. We're probably just going to back to stock as fortunately I recently purchased a spare Marelli distributor thru this board as the original now won't work because he broke a piece trying to get the crane kit to fit. Any other experiences with a electronics point kit on a Marelli set-up?
