A friend just called tonight with what sounds like the deal of the decade. I know nothing about 996's, but I may be buying one tomorrow morning. This is a loaded 1-owner 2002 996 Turbo Cab with 26,000 miles. A local widow is trying to unload it at an UNBELIEVABLE price .... before the bank reposses it.

Questions:

1) Are there any inherent/common problems in this model I need to be aware of?

2) What was the warranty length/mileage in 2002?

3) What is the "R&M Chrome package"????????
