That is a dramatic change with having the contact surfaces clean and free of grease – next to impossible without the cover.


The bolt circle on the 108 mm CV joint measures 94.2 mm. I actually measured against the pins but the pins and screws appear to all be in the same diameter circle. The one I’m measuring is a ’69-’71 with four M10 screws and two spiral pins. This is what I use on the 914-6 SCCA GT2.
