Art used the car for vintage racing over the years and as such it was prepared for just that. I would imagine that the vintage racing groups that he was associated with had the same restrictions to race under original specification as you describe for your club. At the time, I know it had the original 1.8 liter engine, sidedraft carbs and a very rare close ratio five speed, which would have been normal trim for the vehicle. You will note in the pictures that the interior is also up to spec with the rather odd looking "performance" seats in place. I cannot comment on brake trim, but Artie is a stickler for detail and would have used the originals where ever possible.....and the originals were most likely larger than the stock 1800 sedans given it's racing heritage. It also appears that the original wheels are still with the car.

As I do not know who is actually selling this car it is hard to say how much of his handy work is still in place. It seems to have his signature concours look about it and from the look of things, it seems to be intact.
