If you want to upgrade the lights or change the styling, look at a fixed headlight conversion. I bought the GT Racing ones recently for my daily driver project (which I'm almost done with). Pretty nice. Gets rid of all the moving parts and crap associated with the pop-up lights (which is a huge pain to deal with) and saves some weight. Also simplifies the engine bay and cleans up a lot of things - makes it more accessible. I'll post some pics if you want.
Warning though - the "kit" they sell is far from a "bolt-on" installation - I did have to customize it a little, but if you're reasonably competent around the garage/shop, you shouldn't have any problem.
