Ok so I added CD2. Started it up and the valve tap is still there of course. I leave for work and after a half mile tap is gone, but i had pretty bad white smoke all day I could see on acceleration. Detergent burning white? Guess I'll drive a few hundred miles, see what happens, then change the oil since it is due anyway. And I'll keep an eye on antifreeze level.
