Detergent burning white? Sorry but the answer is no. You have a blown head gasket or oil cooler seals. Open the oil drain plug and drain some oil out and see if there is any coolant in it. If you drive it with coolant in the oil, you run the risk of locking up your engine.

Lifter problem may still be there on next startup, it may take a while to fix it...or, it may have fixed it already but I bet not just yet.
