I cant remember all of what is discussed in that thread.

I replaced my sensor and it didn't fix my problem.

Here are the ideas I've seen so far:
1) replace the sensor
2) replace the connector
2) replace the tank

I had a chunk of loose plastic in my tank. I has been proposed that it is possible for the divider to break and let water pass between the chambers rather than keeping one much more full than the other.

One idea is to zip tie the float "UP" to eliminate the broken tank divider possibility. If you did this with a new float you could prove it is the connector or between the connector and the ecu.

This is a common problem without a straight forward fix, AFAIK.
