While I would love to sway you to the lighter and faster SC....
I just saw an 84 Carrera coupe in the newspaper here in Fort Collins, CO. I happened to call (it was a slow night) and got the following info:
White with tan leather
115K original miles
One owner since new
Dealer maintained
Tranmission opened at 45K with upgraded ratios installed
Autothority Chip
2nd set of Fuchs with studded snows included
$17K -- Sellers sounds anxious to unload--He is retiring and getting spousal pressures to get rid of it.
The owner did happen to say he drove it in all 4 seasons, which, in Colorado means rock chips, and lots of them, but who knows, I didn't see the car nor ask about this. However, Colorado means dry climate and no rust.
