Hello Geoff,
It just pulls out. You may need to use a lever to help. Sometimes when pulling CIS injectors, the sleeve will come out with the injector, destroying the sleeve. Porsche made a poor choice of retaining the injector sleeves with stakes, rather than threads like the other OEMs. The purpose of the sleeves is to isolate the injector and seal from manifold heat, unfortunately they chose to use the same material seal for the injector sleeves. In my experience, the injector sleeve O ring is in worse shape than the injector seal and it needs to be replaced to do a proper job of it. If you want to do it properly, first grind down the stakes with a small carbide bit (Dremel), pull the assembly and then remove the injector. Replace the sleeve o ring and the injector seal, then use a flat punch to re stake the sleeve. Otherwise you will have a vacuum leak around the sleeve.
