They figured the average Ducati poser will never wear those chinese plastic pulleys out. They outlast the one track day and the few trips a year down to the local Starbucks when the sun is shining an the girls are wearing scimpys...;-))
I wonder since they cut corners so openly where else they they went cheap more hidden to increase their profits?!Maybe that was the bonus for Bayliss winning WSB?Plastic pulleys and cheap zip-ties attaching the wiring to the as also the money saved on dzus-fasteners replaced by cheap screws...
Maybe the rockerarms are out of plastic too so they can't flake...;-))whih would be a plus. The slipper clutch a expensive aftermarket item and really necessary to get into the Starbucks Mall parkinglot...;-)
At least Stoner won the MotoGP opener so Ducati fans can be happy to be on the bestest, fastet sportiest bike period.Very important for the fast "lifestyle" those guys live...
Recalls;I thought BMW recalls their schitt befor it hits the market...;-) Like with the K1200S and the F800 that got a new rubber cushioned front pulley and no more clutch brake before it hit the CanAm shores...
Recall on the R1200S??I hear they get recalled pretty soon to retrofit a decent two up seat, center stand and luggage rack...;-)),but that is fine with me!A good recall...Bad recall?Suzuki SV for leaking tank seams, the bomb...
