...I'd wait until the engine is fully broken in and the piston rings have settled... synthetic oils is not good for EVERY bike out there.
If you ask an experienced mechanic, they'll tell you to wait at least 20k to 30k miles... that's what I have gotten from every tech I have talked to over the years...
