If you wanted an alternative to the $30 factory connector and cable, some military surplus (or IBM ... it is used in old System/360 mainframes by the mile) Twinax cable and connectors would work nicely! But it isn't a 5-minute minute 'fix' ... as it takes about 20-30 minutes to assemble one Twinax connector by hand and solder properly!
