If the wires you are changing out are factory BERU wires, the end of the wire has a threaded fitting that screws into the spark plug boot thingy. Just unscrew it. The Lindsey Racing wires are also constructed using BERU connectors, but I wouldn't take them apart if I didn't have to.

The plastic coil cover has a snap at the bottom of the flange. Unsnap it, pull it apart far enough to clear the wires and pull straight up. NOTE: When you install the new coil wire, make sure you route it so it does not interfere with the headlight bucket mechanism. Disconnect the battery. Raise and lower the headlights using the manual knob on the motor. You don't want to use the motor to electrically raise and lower. You will be pi$$ed if you break the wire.
