The 2.7 has a mg. case w/ 911 part #(901 casting # is what is visable on the side of the case), the 3.0 has an al. case w/ 930 part#(and a 930. casting #)

At least most 2.7 had a mg. case there were a very, very few al. case 2.7

here is 1 w/ a 901. casting # visable
