New, hobbed gears will not tolerate being "broken in" on a dyno. Remaining in one gear on the dyno will cause heat build-up wherever there is a high spot on the gear face. This leads to the loss of heat treatment in that specific area, and problems seriously snowball from there.
The proper way to "normalize" a hobbed gear is on the street, or ... at the very least ... on the track where you are shifting between gears. This is true even with Porsche's latest sequential straight-cut gears.
Using the incorrect lubricant will increase the problem dramatically.
