If it is what you say, what are the engine 'type code' and serial number to the right of the fan housing? The type code is of the form '911/xx' and serial number is of the form-- *6xx0123*

Many people confuse the CIS and MFI fuel injection systems ... is the air filter flat & rectangular, or cylindrical? The tuned exhaust system of the '74 models meant that the engine did not suffer the thermal stesses of the later 2.7 engines and did not have a serious problem with pulled studs, but it is mandatory to install an external front oil cooler!
