I have replaced just about every component (fuel pump, cold start valve, warm up regulator, injectors, airbox, boots, fuel lines, gas tank (refurbished), etc), besides the fuel distributor in the fuel system. Just how do you test the dristrbutor as a separate component?
I am thinking that its darn hard to repair the unit on my own although it seems to just an issue of cleaning and re-setting, so perhaps it would be a wise move to buy a rebuilt unit instead........
Another question then, i s who is out there that has a an excellent reputation for rebuilding these units. I have heard horror stories about certain vendors. The prices as well have ranged for a rebuilt unit from $400 to $1,500..what gives on this?
