I bet the rears would be easier to fit than the fronts. I've seen 16x10 on the rear will custom offset- no oil line relocating, no massive camber, no spring plate bolt shaving.

8.5 is just too wide up front with narrow fenders. A custom spacer of around 28-30mm would get you around where you need to be with the wheel. You'd certainly have to remove the damper shaft cover and replace it with a rubber bellows, plus you'd have to really massage the front fenders by shaving them and pulling the arches out. 8.5 is just a bit too wide. The tires would certainly rub on the rear inboard side of the tub if you didn't use steering rack spacers.
