Friggs is right the 911 trans is not suitable for this conversion. Your money would be better spent on a 'beefy' VW trans. The conversions I've seen have had no problem with the power output of a type IV motor. The only thing I do recommend if you go to a stock beetle trans is to get 3rd and 4th (or is it just 4th?) gears welded. They are just pressed onto the shaft and can be spun if you have to much power. While your at it you could put longer gears in at the same time, and a super diff. and a .... etc. and still come out costing alot less than a 911 trans conversion.
