Well after removing all the panels Ill answer my own question-
it is SIMPLE to remove the front - just remove the mirrors and 4 bolts - done.
the part that slipped me up was the rubber grommet fastener that just pops off.
Unlike the R11s though, there is no easy way to affix the screen - I think the wunderlich version comes with epoxy.
