I would agree with Bill for the most part due to the fact that the 912E engine tin is extremely rare. Not sure is you were planning to purchase a Type IV motor then attempt to locate the sheet metal. Other the other had, over on the STF (shop talk forums)
classifieds , last time I looked , there were 2 postings selling 912E complete motors, one had the even rarer tranny attached.

In the past, I have seen these complete 912E motors going for $1k on the online forums. Parts Heaven sold one in the late spring of last year for $1,800. Not sure if PP has anything, I always check with them first, after all they sponsor this forum.

IMHO, a good "move" would be to purchase a complete 912E motor, then sell the thermal reactors. I have been offered up $2k for mine (you just have to be patient, timing is everything).

As for MM, well you may have better luck in taking the money and going to Vegas or Atlantic City, then you could afford HCP (I hear that he is really worth the $$$$).
