You should have a '912' slanted script mounted on the passenger side of the rear decklid and the typical separate PORSCHE letters on the lower rear portion. If it's an early 66, there might be a chance that the Porsche lettering is the joined type found on the earlier cars. Either way, look very closely at the underside of the decklid for filled holes - 2 for the 912 emblem and 2 for each letter. If you see 2 filled holes centered towards the upper portion of the lid, it's off of a 67-69 car.
