You definitely need a Turbo Arm or weld an attachment like the OEM. Strange thing is, it appears Porsche just welded a piece on to the OEM Arm, it looks totally different from the driver side.
Caution if you have a K&N Filter it may need to be cut down to accomodate the shock.
Alternative is to put a dual shock on the driver side alone, that will hold your new lid with tail up. Note, it may push up on the that side when closed.
