After some thought about what jaems said about the commonality of the chrome 912 deck script I came to the conclusion that while he is correct about the roughly 3 to 1 production of 912s to 911s, the 912 only had the 1 piece porsche script for a very short time, from 8 of 65, when the first 912 was produced to sometime in early to mid 1966, when they went to the separate letters. Just the fact that the 356 was produced for 15 years and the 911 for many years, I would think that the 1 piece chrome script is quite rare.
