Looks like it got sideways first. I do remember seeing some articles in the various mags about taking steps to reduce lift under these conditions; i.e. when the relative wind is not coming under the front of the car. They do realize there is a problem, and have taken some measures to correct that problem. It also looks as though it may have hit the grass, and possibly a berm, while going sideways, but it's unclear from the film. If that's the case, even a 3400 pound NASCAR brick can kite up and flip like that. I would like to know more about what happened here before deciding it's an aero problem.
