No smog in Florida, no state inspection at all. No emmisions on the car, no smog pump, cats, etc.. God bless Florida! Except in the summer when I realize ditching the A/C for that extra 2-3hp was a stupid idea..
Traction is a major issue. With the juice and drag radials (Gforce T/A2 275/40r17) I have hit low 11's @ just over 130mph. It's hit and miss right now as I get better at launching. If I don't spin, I get wheel hop. Occassionally I get it just right and fly.
I was hoping to step up to 350-400RWHP shot to break into the 10's...
My Mastermind controller has a progressive hit. Starts at 100hp at 2500rpm and ramps up to 250hp at 5600rpm, carries 250hp through 6300rpm where it cuts out just before redline. Allows for more top end power with less wheel spin down low. Also protects the block at low RPM.
