Introduction...

Figured I would be polite and actually introduce my Sharks to you guys. I know some of the things I have done would be considered Blasphemy in the PCA cirlces, but please remember, no matter how much $$ I poor into my Sharks...none of them will ever be show winners. They are what they are, fun seat of the pants super cars. Hey I like a little "Rice" with my "Bratwurst.."
Car was originally Moosegrun metallic (Green), PO painted coral metallic. I just recently painted it Hot Rod Flatz Black and did the rub strip delete. I've still got some finishing body work to do before I spray it again for a more finished look.

Couple pics to start of my shark, later my duaghters.
Hot Rod Flats Black paint with Yellow graphics, CF hood, Gunmetal 17" TT rims, 245 front, 295 rear, Cheezy wing, cannards, side moldings, just started yellow pin strip on rims.

Interior shots, Lots of Burlwood, 928MS short shifter, grant knob, 7" DVD, XM, Gtech, Mastermind N2O controller, DynoTune A/F controller (W/LM-1), Race Seats, Rear Seat delete with amps and bottle, rear speakers. BTW 4 point harness mount has been relocated to rear shock towers using 928MS mounts since pictures taken.

Car used to be red... When hatch is shut, less than 1/4" clearance from the 2x12"s and the 15" to the glass.

White face EL Glow gauges in the pod and 3 more on the pillar.

Pics of the Hybrid. 81 Euro top on an '86 bottom with Harris Speed Works dual nozzle Brute Shot Nitrous system. Currently jetted at 250RWHP.

Comments welcome, even if you hate it..
And yes, before the concours nuts go crazy...that is actually a red metallic spray paint can top on my washer fluid neck.. It has been replace with OEM. Now for 20 points, whats the red plastic cover over the wiper motors made from??? Think redneck engineering.. Couldn't use the stock black thin plastic cover because of the nitrous purge line.

Terra!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where the f@ck have you been? I was worried that something bad happened to you. I tried calling your cell phone 4 or 5 times. What happened man, you dropped off the face of the earth. I'm glad to see that your back and that your OK.

Since your looking for a 5l block I'm guessing our deal is no longer valid. I'd love to hear what happened. Please give me a call when you get the chance or drop me a PM.

Welcome back.

I'll pm you the new number. Basically got bored of the Rennlist clicks. You're concours or SC, that's your only 2 choices on Rennlist... IMO
Widebody? Blasphemy!
Turbo? Blasphemy!
N2O? Blasphemy!
Rear Wing? Blasphemy!
Fly cutting your own pistons? Blasphemy!

Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of awesome folks on Rennlist, and I learned more about the shark there than anywhere. Worth paying to be a supporting member. Just got tired of a few loud voices trying to corral everyone into there way of thinking. I say, run what you brung and have fun! Don't judge, applaud and help out. Funny thing is there wasn't too much directed at me, just got tired of seeing it directed at others. What got me to give up on Rennlist was I started to post pics of my hybrid build up, before I even started to post the good pics I was getting blasted for fly cutting my own pistons, having the heads ported, polished and gasket matched, the intake runners extrude honed and gasket matched plus running dual 3" exhaust off the MSDS headers. I think my results have proven them all wrong. Even N/A this car is a monster. I took a buddy to Panama City to test drive a GTS and he couldn't keep up. And that was without the giggle gas. Gtech is hitting 290RWHP @ about 70mph. Add about 19hp for drag ( .38drag coeficient and 21sqft frontal area) and you get about 360hp at the crank (assuming 15% loss). That's a 60hp crank gain for headers, no cats, X, 3" dual exhaust, Turbo44 mufflers, head work, intake work, upgraded ignition, 5.0L bottom end, etc.. I know the Gtech is not the perfect way to measure HP, but it's real world which is what matters. Pretty good bang for the buck.

I've gotten pretty active in a couple local tuner boards where there's just more love for what I've done to my car. Also hanging with the local region 12 SCCA boards. I had forgot about Pelican until I needed the new block. Much more level headed and accepting here!

Still interested in the clock work orange kit if you still have it, just trying to allocate funds form the finance minister for a wide body kit. She asked what I needed it for...I said to get chicks! Bad move...

That engine bay is smog inspector porn.

You must have some serious traction issues even with that big of tire, how bad is it?

How fast is it?

No smog in Florida, no state inspection at all. No emmisions on the car, no smog pump, cats, etc.. God bless Florida! Except in the summer when I realize ditching the A/C for that extra 2-3hp was a stupid idea..

Traction is a major issue. With the juice and drag radials (Gforce T/A2 275/40r17) I have hit low 11's @ just over 130mph. It's hit and miss right now as I get better at launching. If I don't spin, I get wheel hop. Occassionally I get it just right and fly. I was hoping to step up to 350-400RWHP shot to break into the 10's...

My Mastermind controller has a progressive hit. Starts at 100hp at 2500rpm and ramps up to 250hp at 5600rpm, carries 250hp through 6300rpm where it cuts out just before redline. Allows for more top end power with less wheel spin down low. Also protects the block at low RPM.

Those cars are pretty darn neat! They look like more than a work in progress but a whole package, lots of appeal and interesting stuff. Great work!

Best is a 1.78sec, average right under 2.0 with a good launch.
