Hey Pete -
My brother has a '67 bus similar to yours but with windows everywhere. Has camping stuff inside, fridge, cot, stove,etc. He said it came that way. We drove it down to Florida a couple of years ago to set free a pet alligator I had for 21 years (but that's another story).
Our PCA is having and auto-x / dragrace next weekend at Rantoul. I'll be there, you should come.
