I was near there last year, up in Anacortes.
Absolutely beautiful area, post-card pretty.
The people up in that area were very friendly and cool (yes, even to me) but man was it cold! Cut right through me.
For some reason the same temperature there felt colder than it would here. Dunno why.
Took a drive through Belleview while i was up there and it was rerally cool but kinda seemed yuppie-reinvented. Almost looked like a hollywood stage or something. Can a place be too clean and nice? I guess I'm just too used to the riff-raff down here.
BTW that Anacortes refinery is temporarily shut down for maintenance due to adverse ecenomic reasons. The crude oil costs them more than the gas is selling for so they pulled the plug until prices stabilize.
