Howcome you never mention this place? Man, if I lived up there, it could become my second home! A $5,000,000 "pool hall"???

it's concrete, overpacked strip mall hell. It's so tightly packed and traffic is impossible, and it's getting worse - there is never ending construction. It's shopping-mall chic and Nouveau Riche, through and through.
They arrest you if you don't drive a new German car there. I avoid Bellevue and the Eastside whenever possible. With that said, I work In Kirkland, which is Hell, with a view of the water but the same attributes as Bellevue. The Parlor is Eastside Club scene boy and girl in C Class Mercedes listening to Techno spiky haired and striped shirt hangout. We rented it once for a NAMB trade show a few years ago. rjp

So, what's the speed on those Gold Crowns? Anybody know the cloth used? The pocket width?
You say guys with $$$ who think they can play hang there? If so, a hustler's dream. House pro is Dan Louie...it would take a good player to beat him, but it has happened. (edit) Really, I got ya...it's a pool themed meat market bar...NOT a place to enjoy playing pool. Thanks...

I was near there last year, up in Anacortes.
Absolutely beautiful area, post-card pretty. The people up in that area were very friendly and cool (yes, even to me) but man was it cold! Cut right through me. For some reason the same temperature there felt colder than it would here. Dunno why. Took a drive through Belleview while i was up there and it was rerally cool but kinda seemed yuppie-reinvented. Almost looked like a hollywood stage or something. Can a place be too clean and nice? I guess I'm just too used to the riff-raff down here. ![]() BTW that Anacortes refinery is temporarily shut down for maintenance due to adverse ecenomic reasons. The crude oil costs them more than the gas is selling for so they pulled the plug until prices stabilize. |

![]() Soft drinks are out because of the sugar...I'm pretty much a "water on the rocks" guy these days... I have thought of bringing Matt up these, see if he could get into a few yuppie pockets. He's perfectly capable of playing Dan Louie, the house pro there, without asking for weight. Nor would he get any...Dan Louie knows Matt. They've played before...Louie barely edging Matt at the 2007 BCA western regional championships. Louie then lost to Glenn Atwell in the finals. Atwell lost to Matt in 2008... Which would be Matts problem...if Louie spotted him, the locals would get a warning.
