I haven't had time to research this but maybe look into clear coating, metallic, or a pearl type coating over the black paint. Most all black Porsche 911's and 930's were non-clear coated (during this era anyway) I have heard a few were.
I had something like this on a midyear metallic 911 I owned years ago.
