My 69 912 is stock from what I can tell. I bought it last July. What jets do you recommend for a stock set up?
I failed the exhaust emissions test here in Illinois, passed the CO, CO2, NOx but not the HC (Hydrocarbons) level. Mine was 1100 ppm vs. the states 900 ppm. Too much unburned fuel I guess. The test is done on a dynamometer.
The ignition timing was set at 5 degrees BTDC with my 050. New plugs, oil & filter change and had added Petronix breakerless ignition.
After the test I measured the accelerator pump output on both carbs as being 4x more than the .55cc per two strokes the shop manual calls for so I readjusted both carb pumps. Now I am looking at jet sizes.
