Thanks Peter,
I think I read your post a few weeks ago about you shift fork, glad it wasn't an expensive fix!
I was in my car, stranded on a twisty mountain road to Panorama Ski Resort, so I had my dad post this post, but...... the trans is now working! All I did was spray a bottle of windex on the tranny, then threw a couple of snow balls at it, let it sit for about an hour, then Viola, it worked! I was driving it pretty hard, so I think the trans got a little hot. The vent on top of the trans might be plugged, causing air pressure to build. Cooling it allowed the air pressure to reduce enough for the thing to work again???? This is a crap shoot.
Has anyone had this happen?
