Anyway, from the one pic I see, there appears to be no lateral support for the bracket. It looks as if it could pivot and swing to one side or the other, which would not be really good for your throttle response. If that's the case, you might think of running an extra rod or piece of metal from somewhere to the bracket to keep it from moving.
