I built a 914-6 conversion while I was living in Seattle - where the car was both legal and licensed. I moved to California and recently took the car out of storage where it had been for the last 6 years with the idea of getting it licensed here. The issue is that the car is NOT legal in Cal. due to the coversion to Weber carbs.
Does anyone have a suggestion for how to deal with this short of converting it back to an FI 4 cyl? Since it is a 75 do I just put it back in storage until it doesn' require a smog?
