Question

I have an opinion question for all of you.

Recently I did a nose clip on mine and I ran into an issue on the hood. To get the inter cooler in the front section, I had to cut out the structure under the nose cone and rig in the cooler. In doing so, the hood will not close the remaining 1/2 inch or so because the inter cooler is still up too high on the intake and out going connections. It holds up the hood. I am thinking of just taking out the hood catch so I can turn the cooler down a little more to get it to fit and putting hood pins in to hold down the hood.

My question is: has anyone had any experience with hood pins on a 951? Good or bad experiences? Would this look right on a street car?
